I will admit that I had absolutely no idea what I wanted on the cover of Hiding In Plain Sight. I knew I wanted it to be beautiful, I knew it needed to accurately represent the story, and I knew I wanted to see it as soon as possible. That’s it. That’s all I knew. When I opened the email with the first mock-up of this cover I instantly fell in love. Like heart racing, palms sweating, teenage girl at a Bieber concert in love.

I don’t know who those people are on the cover, but they are now Kierra and Bryan. That little bit of the street you can see at the bottom, that’s so important to the story (no spoilers!). The cover artist is a genius, or perhaps a mind reader, or maybe even part witch, I’m not entirely sure. I know that I envy her talent. What I created in this book in words she captured in a graphic form with this cover. It is perfection!

The best part of the cover for me though is that my idol who has become my friend, and my mentor graced the cover with her quote about my book! I was more nervous to send Roxanne St. Claire my book to read than I was to submit to publishers and agents, her opinion means that much to me. More!
